It was both an honour and an exhilarating challenge to create the restaurant in a space which has 10 columns in between with almost only one side opening. The restaurant is designed to create a truly “bon – appetite” leading to a delightful experience. The playfulness of the form of partition cum ceiling offers a dynamic entrance for the visitors. The materials are selected to add warmth, making it cozy. The idea is to build a simple space. The use of different kind of flooring and seating furniture in two different areas create an intended space of separation and zoning. The idea is to use simple and low cost characteristic and functional materials plus to give a new life to forgotten bamboo craft workmanship. Specially designed lighting has helped to illuminate vibrant and vivid colours of the partition which completes the experience.
